Senior Project Officer role on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Eastbourne. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects focusing on the prevention of fraud. The successful candidate will be highly organised, an excellent communicator and confident managing multiple priorities while ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support projects focused on fraud prevention initiatives
  • Develop, review and update policies, procedures and guidance documents
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and data sharing requirements
  • Organise, facilitate and chair national meetings, workshops and conferences
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders
  • Prepare reports, presentations and briefing papers for senior management
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  • Support continuous improvement across project delivery and governance

Skills, Experience & Training Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Project Officer, Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Good understanding of data sharing legislation, including the Data Protection Act
  • Experience reviewing, developing and writing policy documents
  • Confident organising and leading national meetings, workshops and conferences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working within a regulatory, public sector, financial services or governance environment would be advantageous
