DC Pensions Operations Manager

An excellent opportunity for an experienced pensions professional to lead the delivery of Defined Contribution (DC) operations for a large pension scheme. Working closely with an outsourced administration provider, you will oversee service delivery, regulatory compliance, stakeholder relationships, team performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the role

  • Lead the delivery of DC pension administration services, working closely with an outsourced provider.
  • Ensure service standards, compliance requirements, and operational controls are effectively maintained.
  • Manage stakeholder and supplier relationships, supporting a high-quality member experience.
  • Oversee team performance, projects, system testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the DC administration subject matter expert, supporting governance and strategic objectives.

About you

  • Strong DC pensions administration experience.
  • Previous team leadership or management experience within pensions.
  • Good understanding of pensions legislation and industry best practice.
  • Experience working with third‑party administrators and key stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong communication, problem‑solving, and process improvement skills.
