We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to support the smooth operation of a busy business. This role is key to ensuring customers and internal teams receive the correct parts efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. You will act as a vital link between the workshop, customers, and suppliers, using your technical understanding and organisational skills to manage parts ordering, stock control, and customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for parts enquiries from customers, engineers, and internal teams
- Identify and source correct parts using manuals, systems, and supplier databases
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels and support inventory management
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery updates
- Prepare quotations and provide clear, professional communication to customers
- Support workshop engineers by ensuring parts are available when required
- Keep accurate records within the company’s parts and CRM systems
- Resolve parts-related queries and issues in a timely manner
- Contribute to continuous improvement in parts processes and customer service
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Assistant, or similar role (preferred)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT skills and experience using parts or inventory systems
