Join Our Award-Winning Pensions Team! Ready to take on an exciting new challenge in recruitment or to transition into recruitment from a pensions background? We are looking for someone to join our Pensions team to support the growth of our award-winning division. With combined experience of over 80 years, we focus on placing temporary, contract and permanent candidates within the Occupational Pensions industry across the UK and beyond.

Who are we? Founded in 1957, the Sammons Recruitment Group is one of the longest established, independent, family owned recruitment consultancies, developing through customer drive organic growth, combined with forward thinking and adopting technology. In addition to our Pensions team based in Basildon, we also have a South East Generalist Division with offices in Farnham and Hastings, covering office, commercial, industrial, technical and hospitality roles.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop client/business relationships
  • Advise on and sell the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates and maintaining a candidate database
  • Source and interview suitable candidates, briefing them on the opportunities on offer, negotiating salary packages and presenting suitable candidates to clients
  • Negotiate pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates
  • Offer CV, interview and general career advice
  • Network to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities
  • Meet, and where possible, exceed agreed activity level targets such as client calls, client and candidate meetings, plus mandates successfully taken and filled
  • Proactively remain abreast of trends and developments within your specific niche market area
