Job Description
Assurance Manager - Member Services
County Durham, North East | Remote working
We’re looking for a detail-driven Assurance Lead; you’ll play a key role in strengthening the internal control environment by designing and implementing a first-line controls assurance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive control monitoring framework across pensions administration
- Ensure manual processes and workarounds are effectively captured and monitored
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the AAF 01/20 report
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance teams
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Act as a subject matter expert on internal controls
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in control assurance, ideally within pensions or financial services
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to challenge constructively and drive continuous improvement
- Experience coaching or leading others
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk, audit, or pensions administration
