Lead Machine Operative

Our client, a prestigious and well-established manufacturing company based in Aldershot, is seeking Machine Operators to join their expanding production team on a temp-to-perm basis. Opportunities are available on both day and night shifts, offering stability, structured hours, and long-term career potential within a supportive manufacturing environment.

What’s on Offer

• Pay rates of £12.51 – £15.56 per hour (dependent on shift)
• Day shift: 7:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday
• Night shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am Monday to Friday
• Temp‑to‑perm opportunity
• Company pension scheme
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Early finish on Fridays (day shift)
• Free on‑site parking
• Full training and development provided

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a variety of machinery to process and finish high‑quality products
• Working to job‑specific procedures and production schedules
• Monitoring machinery to ensure it is fully operational, including checking for oil, water, and air leaks
• Reporting any faults or issues to the maintenance team
• Accurately completing all required production and quality paperwork
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company policies and health & safety standards

Skills, Experience & Training Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, or machining experience preferred (training provided)
• Good level of numeracy and literacy
• Basic PC skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
