London Museum is looking for a creative and proactive design and operations manager to support our design and facilities teams in maintaining the highest standards of gallery care and ensuring the productivity of our design studio. As a key player in our team, you will collaborate closely with graphic designers and technicians, contributing to the diverse range of projects undertaken by our department.
In this role, you will lead the gallery maintenance efforts across London Museum’s sites, working closely with our in-house technical teams and external contractors to ensure the meticulous care of our permanent galleries, including our interactive children’s gallery, Mudlarks. Additionally, you will provide financial and administrative support to the Design team, assisting in implementing the London Museum brand, managing the influx of design requests to our in-house graphic design team, and overseeing the appointment and management of freelancers when required.
We\’re looking for people with experience in a museum or gallery setting, who has knowledge of practical maintenance, and a passion for design.
