Hours: 37 Per Week (Wednesday – Sunday)
Location: Edwardian Tea Rooms, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery / other BMT sites subject to business needs
As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will be taking orders, preparing food and drinks, serving either at the counter or at the tables, washing up, cash handling, clearing tables. You\’ll be proactively upselling and ensuring that visitors have a great experience of dining with us. A trip to the Edwardian Tea Rooms is an important part of the visitor experience at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, so you will play a critical role in the customer journey! At all times you will make sure that the very best customer service is provided. You\’ll also be friendly and keen to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever tasks you are set, no matter what the day holds.
To succeed in this role we are looking for the following:
Cash handling experience
Previous experience within a similar environment
Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen training preferable – however full training will be given
Have a great eye for detail and is an excellent organised individual.
