The Role
Working within the Corporate Partnerships team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships, this pivotal role in the team is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop from their first fundraising role, or transfer skills from a sales/agency background, into Museum fundraising. As a core member of this small but impactful team, you will hone your skills in securing and delivering corporate sponsorship and memberships, contributing to the shared team financial target, and collaborate closely with other teams and colleagues across the whole of Royal Museums Greenwich.
Key elements of your role will involve identifying and approaching potential new corporate supporters of the Museum, drafting proposals and reports as required; supporting the stewardship and management of corporate supporters; and working with the Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships to agree annual objectives and quarterly agile goals to contribute towards team-wide financial targets. Further responsibilities include administrative support and record management, ensuring web content is up to date, and playing an active part in developing and delivering the corporate fundraising plan.
The successful applicant will have excellent administrative and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities effectively and adapt to changing circumstances. Excellent communication skills are required for this role, including a proven ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues and supporters alike. The postholder will have a meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to assimilate information well and adopt written house style.
This is a full time, fixed term role for 2 years in Band 6 – Management and Competent Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed upon with management, although due to the nature of the role, some flexibility may be required.
Salary: £31,252 per annum
