The role involves assisting with the onboarding of new clients and matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies, conducting client due diligence, including KYC checks, AML reviews and sanctions screening, supporting conflict checks and the setup of information barriers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date matter information, monitoring client risk profiles and escalating any concerns appropriately, assisting with compliance reporting and audit preparation, and supporting the wider business with regulatory queries and best practice guidance.
About you:
- At least two years’ experience in a compliance role within a regulated environment, ideally a law firm.
- Strong AML and regulatory compliance knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
