The opportunity
- Lead and execute firm‑wide business development strategies aligned to ambitious growth objectives
- Champion CRM adoption (e.g. InterAction / InTapp), designing processes and training that deliver measurable behaviour change
- Embed a culture of structured contact management to deepen client relationships and generate new instructions
- Deliver market, competitor and referral intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and sectors
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership on BD priorities and growth planning
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance and legal teams to embed consistent BD discipline across the firm
About you
- Proven experience delivering business development initiatives within professional services or a law firm
- Strong CRM expertise, with a track record of driving adoption, insight and reporting
- Confident influencing and engaging senior partners and stakeholders
- Commercially astute, with the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies
- Excellent relationship‑building skills, particularly across HNW/UHNW clients, intermediaries and referrers
- Clear, persuasive communicator with board‑level presentation experience
- Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline
