A leading law firm is looking to hire a Billing Coordinator to join its high-performing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to build on initial billing or finance experience in a professional services environment.

The Role

  • Working within a collaborative revenue team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, efficient collections, and strong internal stakeholder support.
  • Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and in line with firm procedures.
  • Converting work in progress (WIP) into compliant client invoices.
  • Supporting credit control activities to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Managing and resolving billing queries, escalating where required.
  • Maintaining accurate records of outstanding invoices and client interactions.
  • Liaising regularly with fee earners, partners and finance colleagues.
  • Supporting senior members of the revenue team on day-to-day activities.

About You

  • 6–12 months’ experience in a legal or professional services environment (essential).
  • Exposure to billing, revenue, finance or credit control processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good level of numeracy and understanding of financial processes.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn.
