This is a great opportunity to join a leading international law firm as a Health and Safety Advisor, where you can have a real impact on workplace wellbeing and safety standards. Working within a collaborative Internal Client Services team, you will support a positive safety culture across UK and international offices, partnering closely with Facilities, HR, and key stakeholders.

The Role

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will provide practical guidance and support across a broad range of health and safety activities, helping ensure compliance and continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day health and safety advice to colleagues, managers, and contractors
  • Support the development and improvement of policies, procedures, and systems
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards
  • Carry out inspections, audits, and risk assessments, tracking actions through to completion
  • Assist with incident and near-miss investigations
  • Produce reports highlighting trends, risks, and performance
  • Support training, inductions, and awareness initiatives
  • Work with Facilities and Office Managers to ensure consistent processes across sites
  • Monitor contractor activities and controls
  • Support ISO 45001 and related compliance activities

About You

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is essential
  • Experience in a health and safety advisory role, ideally within a professional services or multi-site environment
  • Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
