A highly regarded specialist law firm is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of day‑to‑day financial operations and play a key role in the continued development of its finance function. This is a hands‑on role with real visibility, working closely with senior leadership in a collaborative, professional services environment.
The role includes:
- Leading the firm’s transactional finance function, including banking, cash management, billing, WIP and credit control
- Overseeing monthly management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Managing and developing a small, close‑knit finance team
- Taking responsibility for SRA Accounts Rules compliance and client money processes
- Acting as a senior finance contact in the absence of the Finance Director
- Driving improvements in financial controls, systems and processes

- Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a finance management role within professional services
