A highly regarded specialist law firm is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of day‑to‑day financial operations and play a key role in the continued development of its finance function. This is a hands‑on role with real visibility, working closely with senior leadership in a collaborative, professional services environment.

The role includes:

  • Leading the firm’s transactional finance function, including banking, cash management, billing, WIP and credit control
  • Overseeing monthly management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Managing and developing a small, close‑knit finance team
  • Taking responsibility for SRA Accounts Rules compliance and client money processes
  • Acting as a senior finance contact in the absence of the Finance Director
  • Driving improvements in financial controls, systems and processes

  • Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a finance management role within professional services
