Full‑time Pharmacy Assistant – Procurement & Goods In. Office‑based with some warehouse duties, working cross‑site between RPH and CDH. Delivered to support timely medication supply for patients.
Main duties of the job:
- Generate and transmit orders to suppliers
- Reconcile invoices
- Receive stock and put it away
- File related paperwork
- Communicate with suppliers/colleagues (telephone, e‑mail, face‑to‑face)
- Use web‑based supplier catalogues and ordering systems
- Operate pharmacy software, printers and IT equipment
- Identify problem products and raise escalation to relevant team
- Attend team meetings
- Follow departmental and Trust policies and procedures
Person specification:
- Basic general education
- GCSE Maths & English grade C/Grade 4 or above OR level 2 numeracy and literacy functional skills OR level 2 maths and English key skills or equivalent
- Experience working in a team
- Computer skills; good keyboard proficiency
- Knowledge of stock control systems
- Strong telephone/communication skills
- Health & Safety principles knowledge
- Experience in pharmacy
