The predicted salary is between 37000 - 44000 £ per year.
The Estates Compliance and Support Services Officer will be responsible to the Quality Manager and deliver a full administrative, communication and corporate management function as part of the HIF estates service, whilst assisting in the delivery of a safe and compliant service. The successful candidate will also have line management responsibility for the estates administration team. It is essential that the successful candidate can manage a fluid and challenging workload where priorities can change regularly throughout the working day.
There will also be a requirement to take a significant role in monitoring and reporting on departmental outputs that feed into various assurance groups at local and board level. This will include monitoring and reporting on agreed key performance indicators (KPI) with HDFT, ERIC, PAM, Training, Minor Works Processes and Funding, Waste Management and Energy as part of the HIF estates and capital service.

The post holder should also have effective work prioritisation skills, networking skills, negotiating skills, analytical skills, facilitation skills, project management and change management skills and be IT literate and be able to work autonomously.

HIF supplies services to the hospital and community services with respect to Maintenance, Sterile Services, Portering, Catering, Equipment Library, Linen and Sewing Room, Security, Car Parking, General Office, Front Desk, Reception, Waste Management, Courier Services, Security Services and Domestics.

- Degree or equivalent relevant NHS Estates experience
- Project Management Qualification or similar experience
Experience/knowledge/skills
- Significant experience of working in an administrative role
- Experience in minute-taking, meeting coordination, and governance and compliance processes
- Ability to manage and analyse data, produce reports, and support audits
- Experience of working in an Estates/Capital role in the NHS/industry
- Experience in monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and performance reporting
- Team leader experience
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
