Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We are looking for dedicated people to join our team as Patient Experience Volunteers. Your role will be vital in enhancing the wellbeing of our patients, providing them with the support and care they need.
The role involves interacting with patients across the Trust who can feel lonely, isolated or bored. You will spend time talking with patients or supporting with activities.

Our Patient Experience Team plays a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our patients, and we are looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to join us.
The Role:As a volunteer with our Patient Experience Team, you will provide invaluable company and support to patients on our wards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering companionship and engaging in conversations with patients to alleviate loneliness.
- Assisting patients with simple tasks to enhance their comfort and well-being.
- Helping to prevent falls by ensuring a safe environment and supporting patients with mobility.
- Collaborating with healthcare staff to identify and address patient needs.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient safety and fall prevention techniques.
