Overview
Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is looking for a caring, reliable, and proactive part-time nanny to support a lovely family based in Didsbury, Manchester. The family has two boys, aged 14 and 10, who enjoy tennis, football, nature, and reading.
The Role
The nanny will provide after-school care on the following days:
- Mondays: 3pm 9pm
- Wednesdays: 3pm 9pm
- One additional weekday 3pm-6pm (to be agreed with the family) total 15 per week
This is a live-out role, ideal for a nanny who is confident working with older children, supporting their interests and routines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collecting children from school and taking them to after-school activities
- Preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the children
- Supporting with homework and tuition where required
- Encouraging the childrens hobbies and interests
- Creating a calm, supportive, and structured after-school routine
- Liaising with parents to ensure continuity of care
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a nanny or in a similar childcare role
- A driver with own car is essential for this position
- Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check
- Paediatric first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent references from previous childcare roles
- Warm, organised, and confident supporting older children
