We’re looking for a Trade Service Support Executive to join our Commercial team at Autoglym where they will be supporting our Trade division across the UK and helping us deliver an exceptional service to our customers and internal colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes real pride in their work, and wants to grow into a future Key Account Manager role.
Our Trade division supports a huge variety of customers across sectors including automotive, bus, haulage, rail and more. Strong relationships and consistent service are essential to our growth plans, and that’s where you come in! You’ll work closely with our Head of Trade and Key Account Managers to ensure our customers receive the very best experience. In doing so, you’ll enable our KAM team to focus on business development and new opportunities, while you help keep the engine running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is truly varied, expect a mix of customer-facing work, data and reporting, relationship-building, and coordination across multiple teams.
You Will- Support the Head of Trade with day-to-day administration, reporting and project activity
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to handle customer queries, deliver packs, and assist with KPI and trend analysis
- Build strong relationships with customers across the UK through regular visits and ongoing communication
- Assist with new business launches, attending sites, supporting training, ensuring smooth roll-outs
- Produce monthly performance reports, customer packs and sales pipeline updates
- Use CRM and internal systems to maintain accurate data
- Coordinate with departments including IT, Legal, Technical, Engineering, Customer Account Support, Marketing and Planning
- Support the preparation of tenders, presentations and insights for partnership meetings
- Attend trade shows, customer meetings and site visits as required
- Represent Autoglym with professionalism, curiosity and a customer-first mindset
This is a home based role, but will have significant amounts of UK travel (and as such, comes with a car allowance). This will vary, sometimes 1 or 2 days per week, other times 3 weeks out of 4. You’ll need to be flexible and comfortable travelling nationally across the UK and ideally be based centrally with access to good transport links.
