We are Autoglym, a leading British manufacturer of premium vehicle care and valeting products, with our products sold in over 45 countries. We understand car valeting and cleaning innovation better than anyone and continually innovate through our laboratories, testing facilities, and manufacturing site.

Due to long standing members of the team retiring later in the year, we are looking for two Procurement Assistants to join Operations at our head office in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. This is a permanent, full‐time role (working 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday) with the benefit of hybrid working (three days a week in the office).

The Procurement Assistants provide essential administrative support to the Autoglym Procurement function, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials into the business. Key duties include:

  • Managing daily MRP exception messages
  • Expediting purchase orders
  • Maintaining accurate system data
  • Acting as the first point of contact for supplier queries and non‐conformances
  • Working closely with Planning, Design, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to oversee international shipping processes
  • Maintaining procurement documentation
  • Resolving invoice and order queries
  • Supporting KPI reporting
  • Driving process improvements

We are looking for a proactive, organised individual with strong administrative experience and solid PC skills, including confident use of Excel. Excellent communication, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively are required. Additionally, a positive, can‐do attitude, adaptability, customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment are essential. Self‐motivation, teamwork, integrity and respect for others are also important.
