Medical Engineering Manager – EBME Team

Location: Blackpool
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours/week

Role Overview:

Responsible for leading and managing Medical Engineering Services, ensuring efficient asset management, procurement, compliance, and performance reporting in line with customer contracts and national regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee asset management, including maintenance, safety checks, and compliance with MHRA standards.
• Manage supplier contracts, procurement processes, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and develop a technical team, ensuring training, compliance, and high performance.
• Monitor service contracts, performance data, and financial planning for cost efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and emergency response planning.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical device management, procurement, and performance monitoring.
• Strong leadership, project management, and budgeting skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
