Salary – £25,883 (£12.41 per hour)
Location – BCA Nottingham
Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (40 hours)

Main purpose of the role
To assist with the daily operations of a busy auction centre through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard. Due to the size of our Auction Centres our Yard Operative roles may require a lot of walking and being on your feet throughout the day in all types of weather conditions.
Your key responsibilities will be:
– Moving a high volume of vehicles between the yard
– Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed, on-site training provided
– Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager
– Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:
– Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence (and able to drive cars and motorbikes)
– Happy to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
– Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
– Willingness to help other departments out when needed
