DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF WOMEN CO-ORDINATOR

  1. Encourage unity in the Women\’s Ministries, coordinating the women’s movement in the church. Where applicable, write a proposal showing the needs and benefits of the program.
  2. Provide annual training for church women groups.
  3. Plan women retreat, monthly programs, and outreaches.
  4. Provide women in church with resource materials, including program ideas, reports from other areas, and materials from the Conference to promote women’s ministries.
  5. Support women conference and church-sponsored Women\’s Ministries programs.
  6. Hold weekly meetings with all women sub-leaders and all women in the church.
  7. Participate in church women activities and religious women retreats.
  8. Organize and coordinate women’s fitness training sessions and aerobics for the church.
  9. Keep records of all Women\’s Ministries programs by supplying the Church Senior Pastor and Trustees with forms early in the year and setting deadlines for their return.
  10. Cooperate with the General Conference Department of Women\’s Ministries to develop Global Mission projects in each division.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the division and the General Conference Department of Women\’s Ministries to distribute scholarships awarded through the General Conference Scholarship Fund.
  12. Collaborate with the General Conference to support programs such as the women’s devotional book, scholarship program, and The Year of the Adventist Woman.
  13. Provide information and advice to church women on issues related to Living Wisdom women.
  14. Assist as a representative in the Women\’s Ministries in Living Wisdom Conference.
