We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Huntercombe, a category C male prison.
Join a supportive and driven team working Monday to Friday to create a safe and nurturing environment.
HMP Huntercombe operates like a self-contained city, requiring many staff to maintain its functions. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work will impact prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all committed to providing a safe environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking a Stores Operative with qualifications such as:
- Fork Lift Truck Certificate
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Full driving license (preferably D1)
- HGV Licence
- Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
