A lovely family based in Birmingham, West Midlands is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in looking after their three school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their home, while the children are at school. They seek someone responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. It would be ideal if the nanny-housekeeper is flexible to join them for 3 to 4 weeks per year when they travel. Someone who could speak the Tagalog language is ideal but they can consider English-speaking candidates.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: 6 days per week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with 2 to 3 hours break in the day, approximately 55 to 60 hours per week
Accommodation: Own floor with bedroom and bathroom
Duties include:
engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children\’s structure and development
ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
making beds and replacing linens as needed
cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
