Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Lead and mentor a team of Maximo developers providing technical guidance and support
Design develop and implement automation scripts and reports within the IBM Maximo environment
Design and develop integration solutions with different applications and approaches
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure the quality and performance of Maximo applications through rigorous testing and optimization
Manage project timelines deliverables and resources effectively
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Maximo applications
Stay updated with the latest Maximo features best practices and industry trends
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Over 10 years of experience in IBM Maximo development, with a strong focus on automation scripting, system integration, and enterprise reporting.
Hands-on expertise in designing and delivering end-to-end integration solutions across enterprise systems, including CRM, ERP, and asset management platforms.
Deep knowledge of Maximo configuration, customization, and extensibility, including MIF (Maximo Integration Framework), workflows, and object structures.
Strong scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, and Jython, with a focus on automation scripts and business rules implementation.
Proficient in developing and customizing reports using BIRT, Cognos, and other reporting frameworks.
Experience integrating Maximo with Apache Airflow for orchestration of data workflows and automation of enterprise processes.
Familiarity with Azure cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage for building scalable data pipelines and integrations.
Skilled in REST/SOAP API development and consumption, particularly in the context of connecting Maximo with CRM and ERP systems.
Working knowledge of data lake architectures and data ingestion pipelines using Airflow, supporting synchronization between Maximo, CRM, and BI platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Maximo and Airflow DAG deployments using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
Proficient in containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts to support scalable deployments of orchestration tools.
Knowledge of event-driven processing using tools like Kafka or KEDA for dynamic integration patterns.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality validation, and monitoring practices for enterprise-scale workflows.
