Maths Lecturer

Full time and Part time options available

Up to £38 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Lecturer to join a college in Oxford on hourly-paid basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE Maths and Functional Skills to learners aged 16-18, supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths to 16-18-year-old learners.
  • Plan and assess lessons to meet a range of learner needs, ensuring progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience teaching in a college environment or delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to 16-18-year-olds.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
