Are you a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? We are thrilled to offer a unique role that spans two specialist pathways, giving you the chance to develop your expertise and leadership across diverse settings in Buckinghamshire.

We currently have vacancies across the following pathways:

  • Clinical Lead in Selective Mutism (SM) (0.4 WTE)
  • Clinical Lead in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (0.6 WTE)

As the Clinical Lead in SM and ASD, you will play a pivotal role within the leadership team, helping to shape and develop services for children and young people (CYP) with SM, Reactive Mutism, and/or ASD. You will work collaboratively with external stakeholders to foster a coordinated, local approach to supporting needs. You will also be responsible for a caseload of school-aged CYP, with Educational and Health Care Plans.

We are looking for Speech and Language Therapists to join our team in these highly specialist roles. We seek individuals with a desire to step into leadership, with knowledge and experience working with CYP with communication needs including SM and/or ASD.

We are a large, supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality care. We offer regular supervision and year-round CPD opportunities.

As the Clinical Lead in Selective Mutism and ASD, you will help shape and develop services for children and young people with these conditions across Buckinghamshire. You will collaborate with external stakeholders, including SEND services, specialist teachers, voluntary organizations, and charities, to foster a coordinated, local approach. You will also manage a caseload of school-aged children and young people with Educational and Health Care Plans.
