Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) – General Nursing Assistant Roles
CCICP is expanding its team of General Nursing Assistants (GNAs) who work as part of the Integrated Placement of Care Hub. GNAs provide care and support to patients at home, including:
- Assisting with personal care
- Medication administration
- Preparing light meals
- Supporting with catheters or stomas
- Rehabilitation exercises
We are looking for individuals with experience in care or as a Health Care Assistant, passionate about delivering high-quality care.
GNAs work across five care community hubs: Nantwich, Northwich, Winsford, Crewe, and SMASH (Sandbach, Middlewich, Alsager, Scholar Green, and Haslington). Shifts are typically from 8am – 4pm and/or 2pm – 10pm, available 7 days a week. Both full and part-time roles are available, with full training provided. Opportunities for career progression exist, especially for those interested in pursuing nursing careers.

Role Details
As a GNA, you will work within the Integrated Placement of Care Hub, focusing on a \’home first\’ approach, promoting independence and supporting rehabilitation for patients leaving hospital or needing step-up care at home. A significant part of your role involves supporting end-of-life patients, ensuring dignified and compassionate care for patients and families during challenging times.
You will work under the supervision of the wider care team, including district nurses, therapists, and advanced community practitioners. Full training and mentorship will be provided, including record-keeping training on electronic devices.
Applicants must hold a valid UK driving license.
