A globally respected consultancy with over 50,000 employees is seeking a Fire Engineer to join its dynamic Building Design Practice in Glasgow. This role offers the chance to work on innovative fire engineering solutions across sectors such as Cities & Development, Energy, Residential, Transportation, and Commercial.
What You\’ll Do
- Lead and support fire engineering projects from concept to delivery
- Develop fire strategies and assess fire-related risks
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Stay up to date with fire safety regulations and standards
- Conduct site visits and review fire safety installations
- Prepare reports and contribute to tenders and design meetings
What We\’re Looking For
- Degree in Engineering (preferably Fire Engineering) or relevant postgraduate qualification
- Experience with standards such as BS9999, NFPA 130, BS9992, EN45545
- Fire modelling experience is a plus
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Commercial awareness and customer focus
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly
