We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our poultry facilities. Working with a small team.
Taking over the day to day running of our maintenance, refurbishment programmes of our poultry farms and everything they entail. We have a small maintenance team and manage sub-contractors.
Farms are predominantly in East Anglia and surrounding counties.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, project management experience, and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Duties
Overseeing refurbishment programmes. Overseeing the subcontractors, organising materials, H&S, budgets etc
Targeting turnaround maintenance.
Surveying farms to ensure we are keeping on top of repairs and getting value for money
Plan capital expenditures for coming years
Quoting jobs up
Project Planning & Budgeting
Define project scope and objectives
Develop budgets and timelines
Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations
Design & Engineering Coordination
Work with architects and engineers
Ensure designs meet environmental and operational needs
Oversee site selection and land preparation
Construction Management
Hire and supervise contractors
Monitor construction progress and quality
Resolve project delays or issues
The candidate would ideally have agricultural and poultry expertise but not essential

Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role is essential.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in supervising teams effectively.

Proficiency in English is required for effective communication across all levels of the organisation.
