Exciting opportunities have arisen for highly motivated, experienced administrators to join the Endoscopy booking team as an Endoscopy Booking Clerk at Ipswich Hospital.
In this role, you will be contacting patients via phone to book their endoscopy procedures, assisting diagnosis via our 18-week, urgent, and 2-week wait pathways.
This role operates on a rota shift basis, with hours between 08:00 and 16:00 Monday to Friday, and Saturday 09:00 to 17:00. These hours may be subject to change based on service needs.
This is a Fixed Term/Secondment contract until 31st December 2025.
You will be responsible for booking patients in line with the Trust \’Patient Access Policy\’, ensuring patients are allocated to appropriate endoscopy lists, and procedures are scheduled promptly.
The ideal candidate will be fully computer literate in all Microsoft applications and have recent administrative experience. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise workload and maintain high accuracy.
