A wonderful family based in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire is looking for a Full time Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in caring for their precious baby and two school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their property. An ideal candidate will be someone responsible, nurturing, and capable of balancing childcare and housekeeping duties. The nanny-housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the whole family. It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them once or twice a week per year when they travel worldwide. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Typically 4 days, 7:00 am start. 2 days finish at 2:30 pm and the other 2 days finish at 6:30 pm, around 30 to 40 hours per week plus some evenings for babysitting.
Duties include:
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s development
Dropping off and occasionally collecting the older children from school
Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles and purees for the infant
Bathing the children and ensuring proper hygiene
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the children
Keeping bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in play, educational activities, and outdoor outings when needed
Promoting early literacy through reading
Providing homework support and encouraging educational progress
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the private residence
Sweeping, hoovering, and mopping floors
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area
Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothing and linens
Making beds and changing linens as required
Washing up and loading/unloading the dishwasher
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children and infant
