We are looking to recruit a Cook in Charge to join our Catering team at Llwyn yr Eos Primary School, Penparcau, Aberystwyth on a permanent basis.

You will be expected to manage the school kitchen on a day-to day basis according to the standards laid down by Ceredigion County Council.

The role includes:

– preparation and service of school dinners for pupils at the school
– preparation of special diets for pupils as required
– ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards
– ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling
– general Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment and premises

We are looking to recruit an individual with:

– experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment
– adaptability
