What you\’ll be doing

Are you a Chef de Partie looking for a role that\’s rewarding, varied, and a little bit different? At the House of Commons, you\’ll be part of a friendly and professional catering team, preparing fresh, seasonal dishes and helping to lead the daily running of a kitchen. Alongside the Senior Chef, you\’ll support and inspire junior chefs, while delivering food of the highest standard for Members, staff, and visitors in one of the UK\’s most historic workplaces.

What we\’re looking for.

  • Must have relevant catering qualifications i.e. City and Guilds 706:1&2 Or NVQ level 1,2&3 (Pastry) or Equivalent Qualification(s).
  • Ideally with experience of managing and motivating staff, as part of a team that is often under pressure, and the ability to be able to prioritise workload to deliver a high-quality service. Giving feedback and supporting the development of peers and juniors, or be able to demonstrate the ability to develop these skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
