Join Our Team as a Chef Assistant

Aramark UK is recruiting a Chef Assistant to work at Richmond Centre, Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ. You will be part of a fantastic team, serving customers and providing excellent customer service. Your responsibilities include basic food preparation and general cleaning tasks both front and back of house.

Eligibility Requirements

  • UK residency for the past 3 years
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks

  • Permanent full-time role, 35 hours/week, working 5 days out of 7, including some weekends, with shifts between 6:30 am and 3:00 pm
  • Hourly rate of £12.21

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assisting chefs with food prep, such as sandwiches, grab-and-go items, and basic hot foods; potential to train for NVQ Level 2
  • Serving customers, operating tills, upselling, and providing excellent service
  • Stocking and receiving deliveries
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene before, during, and after service

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years and able to pass security and DBS checks
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Flexibility and innovative mindset
  • Catering experience is desirable but not essential, as training is provided
