Applicants must be 18 years old or over.

We are currently looking to appoint a Clinical Typist to work in The Den within the Family Care Division.

The successful candidate must have excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and great attention to detail are essential to ensure work is completed accurately.

To be successful, you should possess IT skills, GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent), and have relevant office/secretarial experience. Effective communication skills and adaptability to meet service needs are also required.

Knowledge of medical terminology, customer care, and previous NHS experience are desirable.

The main focus of this role is to provide comprehensive typing and clerical support for Consultants and Junior Medical Staff in the Child Health Department.

Responsibilities include audio typing, general word processing, clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, processing post, answering calls, and managing patient records.
