An opportunity has arisen within Sunderland City Council for an Apprentice Plumber.
We are looking for a hard-working, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join the Repairs and Maintenance Team as an apprentice plumber. You will work alongside our direct workforce while undergoing a program of study to achieve trade qualifications.

The role involves working with our current team to carry out installation, repairs, and capital works programs in both commercial and domestic properties.
As a plumbing Apprentice, you will undertake the Plumbing and Heating Domestic (Level 3) qualification in a college environment, gaining practical experience in our Repairs and Maintenance department. You will be supported through the apprenticeship by a college assessor and will receive regular mentoring from your supervisor and team.
No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. Candidates should have good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working arrangements.
