What skills and experience we\’re looking for

Scarcroft Primary School is seeking to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, primarily to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan, with a primary need in communication and interaction.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with SEND and/or challenging behaviours and a minimum of Grade C/grade 4 in GCSE (or equivalent) maths and English. You will also hold a Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 2 or above. You will have the skills to work alongside class teachers and our school SENDCo to ensure that the child is able to access an ambitious curriculum and make positive progress against their own personal targets.

The trust will be undertaking a job evaluation exercise in the near future and, therefore, the grade for this position may change.
