Relationship Manager

UK, fully remote

We are seeking a Relationship Manager to join our client\’s team. Their offering centres around payment services and digital corporate banking services.

As Relationship Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Sales and be responsible for reaching sales targets, identifying and procuring new business, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Job Scope

You will need excellent networking and negotiating skills, with the ability to deal comfortably with all levels of senior management. You will also be flexible to travel across the UK and Europe meeting new business prospects and have a clear understanding of the payments sector.

A key part of this role is to drive the relationship with Issuer processors, card schemes, and payments consultants to propel growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and RFPs
  • Conduct market research
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure successful client implementations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must show evidence of:

  • Understanding of prepaid or financial services
  • Proven track record of face-to-face business development, or outstanding relationship skills with the ability to put customer needs first and an appetite for a career in Business Development

You should also have excellent organisational and forward planning skills, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
