Relationship Manager

UK, fully remote

If the answer is yes, our client is seeking a Relationship Manager just like you. Their offering centres around se-money products and payment services as well as digital corporate banking services.

Due to growth, they need a Relationship Manager to join the team. As Relationship Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Sales.

Job scope

You will be highly motivated and determined to reach sales targets, and able to identify and procure new business. You will need excellent networking and negotiating skills with the ability to deal comfortably with all levels of senior management from C Suite to technical experts.

Whilst the role is remote, you will be flexible to travel across the UK and Europe meeting new business prospects, you will have a clear understanding of the payments sector and be a natural forward planner.

A key part of this role is to drive the relationship with Issuer processors, card schemes and payments consultants to propel growth.

In addition you will also :

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and RFPs
  • Conduct market research
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking functions
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure successful client implementations

To be successful in this role, you must show evidence of :

  • Understanding of prepaid or financial services
  • Proven track record of face-to-face business development, OR outstanding relationship skills with the ability to put customer needs first and an appetite for a career in Business Development
  • Excellent organisational and forward planning skills
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Ability to work independently AND be part of a team
