Head of Marketing β London
Digital, Events, PR and Creative demand generation, ABM, content marketing. Our client is a global leader in payments, empowering e-commerce businesses to expand their reach and revenue; connecting clients globally with seamless, secure and bespoke payment solutions offering a unique data-driven payment ecosystem super charging international commerce through its next generation payment network. As they enter a new phase of growth, they are seeking a Head of Marketing with B2B Marketing experience in the Payments / Fintech space in a hands-on, dynamic, multi-disciplinary role where you can be expected to make a big impact.
This is a high profile role where you will report directly into the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for a globally dispersed team of 15 Marketing specialists.

Responsibilities
- Create strategies across Digital, Events, PR and Creative demand generation, ABM and content marketing
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
- Oversee a content marketing plan that establishes thought leadership in fintech and payments, as well as generates customer demand
- Define, monitor and report on team goals to CRO
- Design product positioning and USPs
- Ensure brand messaging is strong and consistent across all channels including events, email campaigns, landing pages and promotional materials
- Maintain up to date information on competitor activity /analysis/research
- Manage media relations
- Analyse consumer behaviour and determine client profiles
- Develop digital and ABM funnels to increase lead generation
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
- Grow a diverse, high-performance team environment that inspires pride, retains and motivates employees, and attracts new top talent
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you will need to show evidence of :
- A strong track record in a senior leadership marketing role in a B2B Marketing function at a SAAS / Payments / Fintech organisation
- Ability to strategise as well as roll up your sleeves to get work done
- Ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions
- Ability to oversee a number of ongoing projects across different marketing disciplines
- Successful track record managing B2B content programmes that increase brand awareness, drive growth, and provide value to the target audiences
- Executive presence β ability to communicate internally and externally with gravitas
- Team management experience
- Experience in events including trade shows and conferences
- Experience managing a budget
