Overview
As Acquiring Solution Engineer you will support the implementation and delivery of new Acquiring solutions as well as ensuring existing solutions adhere to scheme regulations and remain compliant.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and delivery of new Acquiring solutions.
- Ensure existing solutions adhere to scheme regulations and remain compliant.
- Provide guidance and technical direction for acquiring & card scheme projects.
- Analysis of card scheme requirements & specifications.
- Track certified card scheme products/services.
- Maintain card scheme and simulators connection details.
- Participate in card scheme compliance article & bulleting review processes.
- Liaise closely with Project Managers and Support Teams across regions.
Who you are
- Experienced Payments Engineer with a focus on Acquiring.
- Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills with analytical mind-set and high work ethic.
- 3+ years working experience in a similar role.
- Ability to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities related to keeping pace with shifting market requirements.
- Good understanding of the payments ecosystem.
- Clear understanding of authorization protocols, inbound and scheme specific.
- Clear understanding of card scheme clearing flows/processes.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge/experience with multiple card brands is considered advantageous (VISA, MC, Amex, UPI, JCB, Diners/Discover…).
