Cross Border Payments – Business Analysts
Our client has a number of opportunities for BA’s with Cross Border Payments expertise to advise Financial Institutions on the CESOP regulations being introduced by the EU.
To perform this role, specialists must be based in the UK or Mainland Europe.
As the EU is introducing new regulations from next year relating to cross-border payments mandating that Payment Service Providers (PSP) report payment transactions where the payer is located within the EU, and the payee is based in a second country (whether in or out of the EU), we require a number of Cross Border Payment specialists to work on this regulation.
CESOP rules could affect businesses that provide a payment service in the EU including:
- Banks and other credit institutions
- E-Money institutions
- Post Office Giro institutions
- Payment institutions
- Intermediaries or marketplaces
We are looking for consultants who have experience in the following areas :
Experience areas
- Scope Assessment – to determine if CESOP applies to specific businesses
- Transaction Analysis – understands the criteria for transactions falling under CESOP\’s reporting requirements, who reports the transactions to the tax authorities as well as well as the administration aspects of what to report
- Readiness Assessment – whether the business’s systems have the capability to comply with CESOP or whether additional solutions are required
- Implementation Assistance – assisting businesses in meeting the CESOP requirements by working with solution providers
