We are seeking a skilled Systems Tester with strong experience across the full testing lifecycle to support the quality assurance of critical systems and applications. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on expertise with Oracle and ideally (though not essential) AuraPlayer, alongside solid testing, troubleshooting, and SDLC best practices.
About the Role
In this position, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure software releases are robust, reliable, and aligned with organisational requirements. You’ll carry out both manual and automated testing activities, identify defects, analyse results, and help ensure high‑quality delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
Day to day you will:
- Review and analyse systems to understand testing needs and scope.
- Execute manual or automated test cases and analyse results.
- Create detailed logs to document testing phases, findings, and defects.
- Identify, report, and track bugs and errors through to resolution.
- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with developers to support root‑cause analysis.
- Perform post‑release and regression testing to validate system stability.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Qualifications & Key Requirements
Essential Experience
- Recent hands‑on experience with AuraPlayer (Oracle application) will be valued.
- Proven experience as a software tester working across manual and/or automated testing.
- Experience with test management tools such as qTest, Zephyr, and strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of project management and QA methodologies, including defect management, test planning, and reporting.
