Our client provides B2B state-of-the-art financial and digital payment services underpinned by bespoke best-in-class products.

As part of their fast track growth plans, they are seeking 2 Business Development specialists with payment, fintech or FX sales experience to join their dynamic team.

Job Purpose

Your main goal is to create & identify new business opportunities, manage the sales process and relationship with clients and help scale the product portfolio across a number of exciting industries.

Responsibilities

  • You will be prospecting new business opportunities for products in several industries. Building and managing your own sales pipeline is imperative
  • You will contact potential leads and explore new business opportunities to create long-term successful partnerships in markets across the EU & UK
  • You will drive the engagement process by arranging and leading product demonstrations
  • You will work with the rest of the teams to develop detailed proposals for prospective clients, with a particular focus on maximization of revenue
  • You will provide an outstanding follow-up and overall process experience for both internal teams and clients
  • You will be expected to frequently communicate business status to the team including sales updates, decision support analytics and new business leads
  • You will endeavour to explore cross-selling opportunities with the team to leverage diverse services
  • You will keep CRM entries for your clients updated on a regular basis

Skills & Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience with a successful track record of closing five- and six-figure deals
  • Financial Services experience preferred
  • Experience navigating and managing complex enterprise sales cycles while building strong relationships
  • Highly developed organization skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to articulate value propositions and communicate them via phone, email or LinkedIn
  • Experience in presenting complex information in a clear and structured manner
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a positive and approachable way
  • Confidence in dealing with prospects, including those in junior and senior management positions
  • High level of negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, especially during intense situations
  • Experience in keeping track of your activities in a sales CRM and an understanding of the importance of attention to detail and data quality
