An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Treasury team based in Manchester. As a Treasury Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely control of regional banking payments, cashflow forecasting, reporting requirements and play an active role in improving the cash flow within the group.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Contribute and assist the Treasury Manager & Accounts Payable Manager in the control and development of the function in Manchester.
  • To ensure accuracy and timeliness of 13-week cash forecasting and reporting within tight deadlines.
  • To provide point of control for cash management.
  • Lead the management and oversight of working capital financing arrangements and term loans.
  • Actively participate in improving cashflow within the region.
  • Active role in improving efficiencies within the department.
  • Management of bank accounts, associating cashbooks and reconciliations.
  • Completion of monthly bank reconciliations in accordance with month end timetables.
  • Work closely with regional internal departments, including our Payroll, Billing & Credit Collection and Accounting functions.
  • Support Regional Financial Controllers, Assistant Financial Controllers and other Senior Finance Managers in a collaborative effort on regional cash management.
  • Maintain Fraud Risk controls implemented by Group.
  • Additional duties set out by the Treasury & Accounts Payable Manager.

Essential

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Basic Accounting double entry knowledge.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Cash management and Cash forecasting experience.
  • Pursuing a professional finance qualification ACT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent level qualification.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of D365 & Power BI.
  • Internal Controls, Processes and Procedures.
  • Borrowing and Funding arrangements.
