We have an opportunity available for an Infrastructure Engineer to support our client, a leading Global Financial Services provider. We are looking for a strong troubleshooter who can operate across hardware, OS, network, and storage layers, work effectively in Agile and DevOps/SRE-aligned teams, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly. Exposure to cybersecurity technologies, particularly within the Microsoft E5 security ecosystem, is highly desirable.

This is a contract role & outside IR35.

Contract Duration: 12 months

Location: Glasgow, Scotland (Hybrid with 2 days onsite per week)

Job Description: We are seeking a senior Windows Infrastructure / Endpoint Engineering professional with 10+ years of enterprise experience managing and automating large-scale Windows environments (50,000+ endpoints). The role requires deep expertise in Windows endpoint internals, scripting and automation, and the ability to design, build, and support solutions end-to-end, from architecture through post-production ownership.

  • Enterprise Windows Infrastructure (10+ years)
  • Large-scale endpoint environments (50k+)
  • Windows endpoint internals & automation
  • PowerShell / Python scripting
  • Complex environment troubleshooting
  • End-to-end solution delivery & operational ownership
  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint & E5 security suite
  • Disk encryption & OS hardening
  • SCCM, Intune, Splunk
  • Platform design, build, deployment & continuous improvement
  • DevOps / SRE ways of working

Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract. Must be eligible to live and work in the specified work location. Some occasional travel may be required. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
