This is a contract Role & Inside IR35
Contract Duration:6 months
Location: Feltham, UK (Onsite)
Minimum Requirement, Skills & Attributes
- Managing network infrastructure - code upgrades, log file management, troubleshooting, configuring interfaces, access lists etc.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of L2 and L3 Networking.
- Hardware experience, including Network Modules, Interface Cards, Power over Ethernet, etc.
- Ability to Manage VMware and UCS environment (managing and maintaining)
- Ability to image bare metal servers and install VMware vSphere.
- Ability to install Windows, Linux and appliance O/S on Virtual Machines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SSH, HTTPS, and VPN in a Client environment.
Desirable skills
- 5 years experience in an Operations focused role preferably with focus on troubleshooting and sysadmin
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Linux environment
- Experience managing and configuring network infrastructure
- Previous experience physically building datacenter racking
- Demonstrable understanding of networking and IP theory
- Significant skill and a real interest in troubleshooting
- Ability to produce high quality documentation
- Excellent spoken and written English
