- About the team
Our EMEA Marketing team is a dynamic, fast-growing group that loves turning customers into enthusiastic Stripe advocates.
We work hand-in-hand with our Sales team to build demand, help users get the most out of our products, and craft marketing plans that truly resonate with local audiences.
Platforms is one of the largest and fastest-growing segments at Stripe.
Our team works with ambitious software companies, including Shopify, Treatwell, Sage, and Wix.
We help them to embed payments, payouts, and financial services directly into their software, transforming payments from an operational cost center into a core revenue engine.
Because these businesses vary widely by vertical, technical maturity, and local market dynamics, our marketing balances a clear EMEA-wide strategy with the flexibility to activate locally.
We have a lot still to build, and we're tackling it as a diverse, international team that thrives on collaboration, bold innovation, and genuine curiosity.
If you love to learn and want to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to have you join us.
What you’ll do
You’ll lead marketing strategy and plan delivery for Stripe's Platforms segment in EMEA, and serve as the main marketing partner on the EMEA Platforms Leadership Team.
You’ll set the regional field marketing strategy and investment plan, and shape how Stripe shows up across the region's platform ecosystem.
You’ll be accountable for demand, pipeline, customer advocacy, and Stripe's long-term market position in this segment.
As a senior individual contributor, you’ll bring regional and global teams together around shared marketing priorities for EMEA Platforms, secure the key investment areas to deliver them, and balance global strategy with regional needs.
You will directly lead high-priority initiatives across the region.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the integrated EMEA Platforms marketing strategy, turning business goals, market dynamics, customer needs, and competitors into clear priorities.
- Partner directly with EMEA Platforms GTM leadership to set shared priorities, actively participate in business and pipeline reviews, and drive investment decisions for the highest-value opportunities.
- Build and oversee the full-funnel marketing plan for this segment, encompassing brand, demand generation, account-based marketing, pipeline generation and acceleration, executive engagement, and customer advocacy.
- Develop industry and account programs for strategic customers and high-potential prospects, helping Sales engage the right stakeholders with relevant messages and field marketing programs.
- Bring regional and global teams (including Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Communications) together to deliver the marketing plan, and adapt global strategies to regional buyer expectations, regulation, and the competitive landscape.
- Build Stripe’s brand presence for EMEA Platforms through executive engagement, industry initiatives, and customer stories, and lead the programmes yourself where local context and senior ownership matter most.
- Own the EMEA Platforms marketing budget and the commercial metrics across demand, pipeline progression, product adoption, priority-account engagement, and ROI.
Use the results to prioritise, scale, or change investments.
- Represent EMEA Platforms across EMEA and global marketing, bring local market insight into planning, and share what works with other regions.
Who you are
You’re an experienced B2B marketer who has owned a country, regional, or similarly broad marketing strategy.
You can set direction, make investment trade-offs, and work credibly with senior Sales and GTM leaders.
You stay close enough to execution to turn the strategy into commercial results.
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements for the role. If you meet them, we encourage you to apply. Preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including ownership of integrated marketing strategy and investment for a region or comparably broad portfolio in enterprise technology or a complex B2B environment.
- A track record of acting as a strategic marketing partner to senior Sales and GTM leaders, turning commercial priorities into marketing plans and investment decisions.
- Experience setting strategy while staying close enough to execution to run programmes from business case through delivery and measurement.
- Success generating and accelerating enterprise or mid-market pipeline, progressing strategic accounts, and driving product adoption and expansion.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, with a proven ability to align regional and global teams (including those with different goals and reporting lines) without direct authority.
- Ownership of multi-programme portfolios and budgets, and the ability to use data and market insight to prioritise investments and make trade-offs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms and present complex recommendations to executive audiences.
- Good judgement and comfort making decisive calls when priorities compete or information is incomplete.
- Strong programme management skills, including experience using agencies or contractors to scale the team's capacity, and a working knowledge of Salesforce and common marketing tools.
- Preferred qualifications
- Experience marketing to software platforms, Saa S businesses, marketplaces, or other ecosystem-led business models.
- Strong understanding of payments, embedded financial services, fintech, or ecommerce.
- Experience developing segment or category positioning and turning it into regional and local-market programmes.
- Experience developing joint go-to-market programmes with technology, consulting, or other ecosystem partners.
- A track record of building customer advocacy programmes and influence strategies with senior enterprise stakeholders.
- Experience building a marketing approach where the playbook, resources, or route to impact was still taking shape.
